Terms of Use
Last updated 28 August 2026
These terms govern use of Wrender and Wrender World (together, “Wrender”, “we”, “us”), an early-access product for fiction writers, operated from Australia (ABN 55 273 721 310). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. They sit alongside the in-app early access acknowledgment; they do not replace it.

The service
Wrender lets you sketch maps and keep story notes (locations, characters, events) for your own writing. During early access the software is provided as is. Features may change, break, or disappear. There is no uptime commitment and no service-level agreement.
Your account
You must be 16 or older. Keep your login details to yourself. You may close your account by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being misused or that breaches these terms.
Acceptable use
Use Wrender for your own writing and worldbuilding. Do not try to break the service, scrape it, overload it, upload illegal content, or interfere with other people’s accounts or data.
Your maps and writing
You keep ownership of the maps, notes, and images you create. You grant Wrender a limited licence to host, display, back up, and otherwise operate the service for you. We do not claim copyright in your stories.
Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
To the extent Australian law allows, Wrender is not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost writing time, lost data you did not back up, or lost profits). Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you have paid us for it in the previous twelve months. During this free beta, that amount is zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you cannot waive under Australian consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If a dispute cannot be resolved by email, the courts of Australia will have jurisdiction.
